This was a last minute trip that I decided to go on and left around 9:00 am, 05-04-08. I hadn't even decided on where to go. It was a toss-up between Box Canyon or the Montana Mountain Trail. Both are as close as you can get for a nice mountainous trip. I settled on the Montana Mountain Trail because I've been on it several times, it has a lot of elevation changes and it also has the Rogers Through trailhead that goes past some out of the way ruins I wanted to see.
As usual I didn't make it there. I hiked on a trail for about 20 minutes but it didn't have any clear markings and several different ways to go so I turned around. I guess I'm not that adventurous or just plain lazy.
Anyway, the video shows 4+ minutes of the trip. I know it's not Hollywood but it's fun and easy. With the little camera mount I made (below) I don't even have to leave my seat.
